Scuba DivingSri Lanka is a popular dive holiday with sites along the south coast atBentota, Hikkaduwa and Negombo .Great coral reefs and stunning tropical fish you can dive 18th century British and Dutch wrecks.

The best time of year from diving on the south coast is between November and March and the water temperature remains at about 29 C at all depths.
Easily seen marine life include parrotfish, angelfish, butterflyfish, fusillerfish and snapper. Sea fans, black coral, nudibranches, Lobsters, shoe lobsters, octopus can also be found. Larger species to be viewed are groupers, stingrays, jacks, tunas, barracudas and six species of turtles. Mantas, whale sharks, and whales are seen ocasionally.
